SILK ART CREATIONS

All About the Silks

Jenwah and Rosemary are creating these silk pieces in several sizes, prices and weight of fabric. If you are interested in a custom size of any of these pieces please don’t hesitate to call Rosemary. We really would love to have anyone interested in our work to talk to us and we will help to find one perfect for your budget.

The Prints are meant for indirect lighting, where they will be permanent for many years. The silks are prints of original hand paintings by Jenwah over the past 20 years. The actual process for making a print is done on the finest Mimaki Printer. The silk is paper-backed to absorb the dyes. The paper is removed and the silk is put into an autoclave to set the colors. Pockets are sewn into the top of the silk for Banners or Wall hangings with the edges hemmed. These pieces can be framed, hung on rod, or many other creative applications. The prayer flags can be cut into individual prints to be framed if you like. If you have an idea you would like to talk over with us to create something you have in mind we would love to hear from you.
God Bless,

Rosemary

Magnolia with Lumiere Click on this exquisite example of the gold lumiere that can be added to the wallhangings and baners. This addition adds brilliance and richness to your art.

Several options are possible with our silks, such as handpainted gold, bronze or other colors of Lumiere. Would you like to hang the silk from a bamboo or other decorative rod? Do you want a pocket in the top and edges finished? Do you want to frame it? All of these considerations should be considered when ordering .

We find that lighting that goes through the silk will add an illuminating feature to your home. Low voltage lights behind the silk or spotlights will enhance and transform your silk.

We do have usually three standard sizes of each image, but can do custom sizing proportionate to the image itself smaller. You will find sizing when you go to the large pictures in the wallhanging and banner page. Just click on the images in the scrolling box to go those those enlarged images.
